Adele Alchahin first Ph.D. candidate in the lab to successfully defend her doctoral thesis after joining the lab in 2018.

Adele was registered in 2018 and defended her thesis on March 10, 2023. Professor Håkan Axelson from Lund University served as a faculty opponent. The thesis evaluation committee was represented by professor Arne Östman (Karolinska Institutet), professor Andreas Lundqvist (Karolinska Institutet), and associate professor Yvonne Ceder (Lund University).
