As of October 2020, Manouk Verhoeven is officially a doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet.

Manouk joined the Baryawno lab in October 2020 and will conduct her research program focusing on pediatric cancer and the immune system. Her thesis work will involve the complete characterization of the immune cell landscape in the peripheral tumor neuroblastoma and the brain tumor medulloblastoma.
